Euroleague, Baskonia vs Zenit: what happens on Dunkest
Too many complications and an unreachable minimum number of players forced Zenit not to leave for Spain
The double round of the Euroleague opens with the “Zenit” case. The Russian team has been hit by COV-19 and they will not participate in the double challenge with Baskonia (G3) and Valencia (G4).
As for the result of the match, everything will depend on the decision of the sports judge: 20-0 forfeit or matches postponed on a later date.
In this case, what happens at Dunkest? The regulation says this:
- If the matches are moved to a time where the previous Matchday has not yet ended or the next Matchday has already started, then at the end of the first Game Round (T1) the players of the teams involved (including manager, injured and suspended) they will get their Average Score (i.e. the average score obtained up to that point of the season).
Attention: The average score of the players will be attributed in T1, it will not be possible to move them from the bench to the pitch, put them captain or sixth man in T2.
