Skip Bayless criticizes LeBron James: “He’s faking an injury”

After his sciatic nerve injury, Skip Bayless harshly attacked LeBron James and his entourage

It has been exactly one week since LeBron James surprised – and, for this reason, was also accused of fraud – the entire basketball world with his mysterious video, which later turned out to be just an advertisement tied to his partnership with Hennessy, the famous brandy brand.

Although it remains uncertain how long the Ohio native will be sidelined, fans will most likely have to wait beyond the start of the regular season to see him debut in his 23rd season. James had in fact suffered from sciatica even before training camp began.

With a high likelihood that he will miss at least the first weeks of the regular season, the announcement was not well received by many. Among the harshest critics was Skip Bayless, the well-known NBA commentator, who – as he has done in the past – did not spare sharp words toward the four-time NBA champion.

LeBron isn’t really hurt: he’s simply rebelling against the Lakers for how they treated him. Basically, he’s saying: ‘Okay, if Luka is your man and I’m no longer part of your plans, then I’ll take the ball and go home’

Furthermore, the analyst’s comments went even further: claiming that LeBron and his entourage are experts at creating injury-related excuses, Bayless added that no one in the history of all sports has ever been more “cunning and deceptive in faking, creating, and exaggerating injuries” than LeBron James and his team.

Amid conspiracies and playful theories, one fact remains undeniable: by the end of the season, LeBron will be 41 years old. And although his ability to impact NBA games still seems intact, his desire to keep playing could vanish at any moment, making every choice and every reaction of his under the spotlight even more significant.
