Golden State Warriors 2025-2026 guide: Roster, Depth Chart & Key Players
In a season that feels like the last dance, let’s see what Steph Curry and the Warriors might have in store for us from a Fantasy NBA perspective
Could this be the final title run for these Golden State Warriors? Age is catching up with them, and Steve Kerr’s contract is nearing its end. Let’s find out what value we can extract from the Warriors for our Dunkest teams in what might be their last ride together.
At the end of the article, you can consult all the guides to the 30 NBA teams by accessing the Guide Index.
Dunkest NBA Fantasy Basketball has over 200,000 fantasy coaches competing every year since 2013 with points, assists, and rebounds. It’s free and can be played via iOS app, Android app, and Website.
Key Players
Once again the man pulling the wagon, Stephen Curry (G, 16.0 cr) – at a relatively modest cost – will attract plenty of fantasy managers. But keep an eye on his backcourt partner.
Now firmly established as the offensive sidekick to Steph, Brandin Podziemski (G, 9.0 cr) is entering his third NBA season ready to take another statistical leap. Last year he gained a lot of popularity as a low-cost guard, even putting up the occasional 40+ FTP performance. This season could mark a real turning point for him.
Possible Surprises
A veteran still evolving since being drafted in 2007, Al Horford (C, 7.0 cr) continues to make a solid impact, and it looks like he’ll start in the lineup. Without Porzingis last year, he averaged nearly 21 FTP, and he could be a pleasant fantasy rediscovery this season.
If the Golden State Warriors decide to use a true center, keep an eye on Quinten Post (C, 6.5 cr). Despite being the last option in the rotation, he shot an impressive 40.8% from three last season. Fun fact: in games where he played more than 19 minutes, he averaged 18.78 FTP.
Players to Avoid
Even though he’s capable of filling up every column of the stat sheet, Draymond Green (F, 9.0 cr) doesn’t do it consistently enough to give us fantasy confidence or bonuses. With the team no longer functioning like in its glory days – and another year older – he’s likely to be left out of many fantasy lineups.
Likely Starting Lineup
PG: Stephen Curry (Guard, 16.0 credits)
SG: Brandin Podziemski (Guard, 9.0 credits)
SF: Jimmy Butler (Forward, 13.0 credits)
PF: Draymond Green (Forward, 9.0 credits)
C: Al Horford (Center, 7.0 credits)
Power Ranking
If the Grizzlies, Kings, or Mavericks — all teams seemingly better equipped than the GSW — come to the Bay, the outcome won’t be easy to predict. To aim higher than a simple play-in berth, the Warriors will almost certainly need to make some trades, and Jonathan Kuminga looks like the most likely piece to move.
