New York Knicks 2025-2026 guide: Roster, Depth Chart & Key Players
Except the starting five, almost everything else has changed, how will the Knicks respond to a turbulent summer?
This offseason was full of roster moves for the New York Knicks, aimed at addressing last season’s bench weaknesses and providing new head coach Mike Brown with a squad built to dominate the Eastern Conference.

Key Players
While waiting for any news, the undisputed leader remains Jalen Brunson (G, 14.0 cr). He’s coming off a season where he was heavily relied upon and dealt with some injuries, yet continues to be one of the rare players capable of dropping 30 points on any given night. Strengthening the rotation around him should allow him to rest more often, but his central role in the team’s identity is far from over.
That said, the most expensive player in fantasy terms is still Karl-Anthony Towns (C, 18.0 cr), if nothing else, due to a lack of alternatives at his position and his consistent stat production. The former Timberwolves big man brings the same strengths and flaws he had in Minnesota, though now in a more fitting system: being surrounded by elite defenders helps cover some of his shortcomings, but rim protection remains a weak point for this team.
Possible Surprises
Backing up Brunson is never an easy task, but Jordan Clarkson (G, 6.5 cr) has that blend of flair and fearlessness that could quickly make him a key piece off the bench. Taking charge of the second unit – both as a playmaker and scorer – could even put the former Jazz guard in contention for Sixth Man of the Year.
Players to Avoid
Miles Bridges (F, 10.0 cr) hasn’t been able to maintain consistency since his strong stint in Brooklyn, and his new role doesn’t make him an appealing fantasy option compared to others in his price range. What’s more, if a blockbuster trade were to happen, he’s almost certainly the first one out the door.
Likely Starting Lineup
PG: Jalen Brunson (Guard, 14.0 Credits)
SG: Miles Bridges (Forward, 10.0 Credits)
SF: Josh Hart (Forward, 13.0 Credits)
PF: OG Anunoby (Forward, 10.5 Credits)
C: Karl-Anthony Towns (Center, 18.0 Credits)
Power Ranking
Strengthening the bench is a major win for Mike Brown’s system, even if, like his predecessor, he doesn’t hand out minutes freely. That makes the performance of the second unit the biggest area for improvement in a roster that already reached the Conference Finals. If everything clicks, Knicks fans can finally call themselves favorites in the East and legitimate title contenders.
