Oklahoma City Thunder 2025-2026 guide: Roster, Depth Chart & Key Players
The Thunder are learning from their mistakes and keeping their entire core intact, will that be enough to confirm their status in the NBA and in Fantasy Basketball?
Winning is never easy, and repeating success is even harder. The potential of the Oklahoma City Thunder has turned into real capability, and this year we’ll surely witness a cohesive team that knows exactly what it’s capable of.
Thanks to the rookie contracts of Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, the Thunder can enjoy one final season at full throttle before facing the reality of the first and second apron.

Key Players
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G, 20.0 cr) is fresh off an MVP season and shows no signs of slowing down, he’s likely just getting started. In Fantasy NBA terms, he’s not the player you pick when searching for bargain, but he’s the safest bet when you want to lock down your 20 credits and avoid any unnecessary risks.

While Jalen Williams deserves recognition, Chet Holmgren (F, 13.0 cr) stands out as well. Once overmatched by physical bigs, he’s now become a nightmare matchup for opposing forwards. His frame and wingspan let him operate at rarefied heights. He also changed position in Dunkest, and will now enjoy more opportunities and playing time.
Possible Surprises
An NBA champion without having played a minute due to injury, Nikola Topić (G, 4.0 cr) is almost guaranteed to avoid losses in value. In Summer League, he impressed in transition and playmaking, despite some mistakes. While a starting role is out of the picture, he could realistically carve out minutes in the rotation. OKC will continue betting on the future, giving opportunities to players on team-friendly contracts to remain sustainable long-term.
Players to Avoid
An excellent pickup for OKC’s title run, but not so much for our fantasy squads: Alex Caruso (G, 6.5 cr) is beloved by fans, but his tireless defense and selfless playing style don’t translate to Fantasy points. His role doesn’t offer enough bonus production – just 13.5 FTP average last season – to justify the cost.
Likely Starting Lineup
PG: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Guard, 20.0 Credits)
SG: Luguentz Dort (Guard, 7.0 Credits)
SF: Jalen Williams (Forward, 13.0 Credits)
PF: Chet Holmgren (Forward, 13.0 Credits)
C: Isaiah Hartenstein (Center, 11.0 Credits)
Power Ranking
They’re the reigning champions, well-oiled, solid, and running it back with virtually the same roster. Things look bright for the Thunder. No team is currently in a better position, and we’d be surprised not to see them back in the Western Conference Finals, or even going one step further.
