Philadelphia 76ers 2025-2026 guide: Roster, Depth Chart & Key Players

We don’t know how long the Philadelphia 76ers process will last, but the ending isn’t looking promising. On the flip side, we can take advantage of the fantasy bonuses this roster still offers in Fantasy NBA

Every time you read something about the 76ers locker room, it feels like a powder keg ready to explode, and Joel Embiid is always at the center of the drama.

Despite a more-than-decent starting five, questionable decisions – plus a bit of bad luck – have created a situation that’s far from enviable. Still, several players on this team are well-positioned to generate solid value for our Dunkest squads.

At the end of the article, you can consult all the guides to the 30 NBA teams by accessing the Guide Index.

Dunkest NBA Fantasy Basketball has over 200,000 fantasy coaches competing every year since 2013 with points, assists, and rebounds. It’s free and can be played via iOS app, Android app, and Website.

Key Players

Tyrese Maxey (G, 13.0 cr) racks up fantasy bonuses faster than fans panic when Anthony Davis hits the floor. He enters the new season coming off an average of 30 FTP last year, making him one of the most reliable picks around.

VJ Edgecombe (G, 10.0 cr). It’s not every day a rookie is listed among the top fantasy picks, but it’s not every day you get a player with this much potential at just 10 credits. In the Summer League, he scored 21.5 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. If he improves his three-point shot, we might see his FTP average skyrocket.

Possible Surprises

The team switch did wonders for Quentin Grimes (G, 8.5 cr), who has shown impressive output with over 20 points per game, along with a few assists and rebounds. Despite stronger competition for minutes, he’s priced at just 8.5 credits and has averaged 26.6 FTP since arriving in Philly.

Players to Avoid

Johni Broome (C, 8.5 cr). As a rookie, it’s unlikely he’ll find much playing time, even with Embiid’s body being 85% glass. He’s currently behind Andre Drummond (C, 5.0 cr), Adem Bona (F, 5.5 cr), and even Trendon Watford (F, 4.5 cr) in the rotation, making it hard to see him cracking the lineup.

Likely Starting Lineup

PG: Tyrese Maxey (Guard, 13.0 Credits)

SG: Quentin Grimes (Guard, 8.5 Credits)

SF: VJ Edgecombe (Guard, 10.0 Credits)

PF: Paul George (Forward, 11.0 Credits)

C: Joel Embiid (Center, 17.0 Credits)

Power Ranking

This looks like a team led more by its younger players than by the veterans who are supposed to be setting the tone, with Paul George playing the role of podcaster more than forward. There’s a lot that needs fixing, and it’s unlikely much of it will actually get done soon. As much as we’d like to believe otherwise – unless Embiid plays more than half the season – we expect this team to fall outside the play-in picture.
