Key Players
“The very Italian” Donovan Clingan (C, 8.0 cr) could become the player with the highest plus/minus over 82 regular-season games, especially since DominAyton won’t be overshadowing him. He will finally start and, playing 30 minutes per night, projections see him averaging 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and over 23 FTP, not counting the benefit of having a full year of experience behind him.
Possible Surprises
Portland is already experiencing “Hansen-mania,” thanks to Hansen Yang (C, 8.0 cr), who has won over the hearts of many fans. From comparisons to Jokic – which he must prove on the court – to his fight for a starting spot, the path is not easy. His initial cost is not trivial, but we’ll check it back at season’s end.
Players to Avoid
Jerami Grant (F, 8.0 cr), after declines in nearly every statistic last season, seems to have lost his starting role in favor of the young Camara. If, with over 32 minutes and full freedom, he only averaged 16 FTP, it’s unlikely he’ll be convincing in a reduced role.

Power Ranking
They’re not yet a threatening team, but they are laying solid foundations: Sharpe and Avdija aren’t ready yet to carry the group on their backs, while Camara and Clingan must continue maturing. Let’s give the Trail Blazers time, they will remain in the lower half of the standings this year, but with Lillard’s return and some savvy moves, they might surprise us next season.
