Fanta Euroleague M5, Tips
Three players for each role and 2 coaches to face this insidious matchday 5 of the Euroleague 20/21 season
Here’s to you our Tips for M5, to face better this insidious Euroleague round.
Guards
Nando De Colo (Fenerbahçe Istanbul, 14.6 CR): since Sloukas is not around, he has the reins of the game and coach Kokoskov hasn’t thought much about giving him the keys. Against a Panathinaikos who struggles and comes to the game without the captain Papapetrou he can churn out a performance of his.
Wade Baldwin (Bayern Munich, 8.5 CR): it is undeniable how far Bayern is one of the surprises of the 20/21 Euroleague. Leading the team in addition to Trinchieri, Wade Balwin IV and against his former team, Olympiakos he’ll want to continue to play better.
Rokas Jokubaitis (Zalgiris Kaunas, 4.9 CR): another surprise team (Zalgiris 4-0) another revelation, this time linked to a young player already on the overseas radar. Schiller gave him great freedom in terms of play and minutes. As low cost choice always take him into consideration.
FORWARDS
Vladimir Lucic (Bayern Munich, 10.9 CR): the vampire of Serbia is a solid player since the first Dunkest Euroleague edition! After the dark interlude of last year, he is recovering and coach Trinchieri is always counting on Count Vlad to bite his opponents.
Nigel Hayes (Zalgiris Kaunas, 8.3 CR): also for him a positive surprise compared to the dark last season. Perhaps the market that took Landale and Leday away and brought him Lauvergne has benefited him. But it’s clear how much coach Schiller is counting on him and if there are 5,000 fans to watch him, he can get excited.
Sasha Vezenkov (Olympiacos Piraeus, 6.9 CR): old acquaintance of the Dunkest low cost team. The outline of the team has remained similar, with the wingmen to do it as masters, but the young Cypriot, as always, carves out his quality minutes.
CENTERS
Jan Vesely (Fenerbahçe Istanbul, 14.5 CR): one of the most solid in the entire Dunkest player park. The agreement with De Colo continues to improve from game to game and after the injury to keep him out almost all last season he returned to dominate. Papagiannis and Auguste won’t cause any problem to him.
Joffrey Lauvergne (Zalgiris Kaunas, 10.4 CR): no discussion about the player, many doubts on his physical condition. So far he has held, covid aside, becoming a factor for the Zalgiris. He will be there to preside over the basket, against more perimeter centers like those of Valencia.
Hassan Martin (Olympiacos Piraeus, 10.2 CR): very interesting matchup with Reynolds. It is not Milutinov, but Olympiacos have found in him a valid substitute.
COACH
Igor Kokoskov (Fenerbahçe Istanbul, 7.4 CR): new entry for the Euroleague, but not among the most popular coaches. He is shaping his yellow and blue game more and more. In a match where his victory is expected he must be taken.
Martin Schiller (Zalgiris Kaunas, 6.6 CR): unknown to the general public and branded as unsuitable to replace Jasikevicius, he gave fluidity to the green-and-white game. Considering the legacy left him by the current Barça coach, he is amazing everyone and with the favor of an audience considered by many to be “illegal” he can easily overcome the obstacle of Valencia.
