Interesting matchday as the first of the double round week. ALways pay attention to who coaches could leave to rest.
G14 is the first of the two matchdays that await us this week. Tip-off with the big match between CSKA and Efes to open on Tuesday at 6 pm, Asvel-Khimki will close on Wednesday at 8.45 pm.
GUARDS
Mike James (Cska Moscow, 17.7 CR): 64.75 Dunkest Points. This is enough to describe James’s moment and this is enough to describe MJ’s omnipotence when he is up against a level leader. From Shved to Larkin the step is short, maybe it won’t be repeated, but leaving him out is really sooooo difficult.
Jordan Loyd (Crvena Zvezda, 11 CR): The 27-year-old from Atlanta is one of the main surprises of this Euroleague. A thoroughbred scorer, against the dawn he can find fertile ground for his devastating raids on iron. It is true, there is a risk that he will freak out, but at the same time there is the risk that he will make children with a mustache. In the end, at that price it is a very risky wildcard.
Rokas Jokubaitis (Zalgiris Kaunas, 4.7 CR): speaking of surprises, one cannot fail to mention the number 1 candidate for the Euroleague Rising Star award, the award dedicated to the best young player of the season, Rokas Jokubaitis. The 20-year-old product of the green-and-white cantera is amazing everyone with excellent performances, and with Baskonia it is certainly a great choice.
FORWARDS
Nikola Mirotic (Barcelona, 18 CR): at home against Khimki. This is enough to justify the presence of the Hispanic-Montenegrin tank in the tips. He can do 20 + 10 if he wants, but even if he doesn’t want good, it only takes away his bad luck. Steamer.
Johnny O’Bryant (Maccabi, 9.7 CR): The former Maccabi returned to the Euroleague after a year of absence, but the start was not entirely encouraging. Against Alba, however, he has a great opportunity to make up for it and who knows he may not finally be able to shoot his first double-double of the season.
Livio Jean-Charles (Olympiacos, 6.2 CR): The 27-year-old from French Guiana in the last matches seemed to be Bartzokas’ favorite as a change of forwards, without particularly regret. At home against Baskonia we see it well, and if you aim to have an alternative name to climb positions, Tito Livio is the one for you.
CENTERS
Jonas Jerebko (Khimki, 14.2 CR): The former Golden State has ended up under the control of the Moscow management in the last few hours, and I am sure it will do everything to make up for it. The match against Barcelona is difficult, but I expect a slightly combative Khimki with JJ ready to lead him in case of a possible blitz.
Ognjen Kuzmic (Crvena Zvezda, 8.3 CR): from one former Warriors to another, with the Serbian pivot getting ready to fight against the Alba centers. We like him because he is a center with a good propensity for rebounds, and given that the German team’s centers are not very good defensively, he could make a good impression.
Leon Radosevic (Bayern Munich, 4.8 CR): the former Milan player has two excellent performances against Asvel and Khimki, and as the saying goes: “there is no two without three.” Against Zenit it can do well, and it is certainly an alternative name in the miserable low price range of the centers.
COACH
Sasa Obradovic (Crvena Zvezda, 4.3 CR): The Red Star is back from four consecutive defeats but has a great chance. At home against Alba he cannot possibly be wrong, and at that price, practically the minimum, he is not good, more.
