Here are our tips for M31 of Dunkest Euroleague

Micic in maglia Efes

Matchday 31 with only 2 real playoff clashes, with the matches between Valencia and Bayern in R1 and Baskonia-Olimpia in R2. Two head-tail games open and close with CSKA-Red Star at 6pm and Barça-Alba at 9pm.

GUARDS

Vasilije Micic (Anadolu Efes Istanbul, 16 CR): Efes has to return to win and convince as in previous games. To do this it must start from his best player, who nevertheless saved himself in the defeat against Bayern.

Marius Grigonis (Zalgiris Kaunas, 11.1 CR): Zalgiris have only one result available to keep the playoff hope alive: win. Grigonis and Lauvergne are essential to aim for victory. Against Maccabi we bet on him.

Kevin Pangos (Zenit St Petersburg, 10.4 CR): While not having his best time of the season, guards against Khimki often play well. So the canadian guard could return to his best shape.

FORWARDS

Will Clyburn (Cska Moscow, 11.6 CR): in the victory against Real Madrid he showed signs of recovery, in a game that was fundamental for his team. Against the Red Star he can be repeat, even if the competition between forwards within CSKA remains high.

Mateusz Ponitka (Zenit St Petersburg, 10.8 CR): in the negative moment of Zenit he was the only one, both on the pitch and on Dunkest, to maintain the high level in his game. Confirmation could come against Khimki.

Derrick Williams (Valencia Basket, 10.3 CR): here too, after months of nothing, finally a match worthy of his name. Against his former team he could get in a reconfirmation, in a key playoff challenge.

CENTERS

Jalen Reynolds (Bayern Munich, 13.5 CR): According to news from the Valencia injury report, it will be difficult for Ponsarnau to have its own centers at 100%. The long American will certainly try to take advantage of that.

Jordan Mickey (Khimki Moscow Region, 12.4 CR): the Zenit department that is certainly struggling the most is that of the centers. In the Russian derby the Khimki’s beacon can do well, victory or not.

Achille Polonara (Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, 10.9 CR): with Jekiri out (at his best), the Italian stallion will take on Baskonia against Milan, to keep the playoff hopes alive.

COACH

Xavi Pascual (Zenit St Petersburg, 4.8 CR): his Zenit is in crisis of results. There is no better opportunity to redeem himself than to face Khimki, who have already beaten the team from St. Petersburg in Vtb.

Martin Schiller (Zalgiris Kaunas, 4 CR): Zalgiris is not having a great time here either. In the green-and-whites there is no longer the same glaze as at the beginning of the season, but Maccabi is in worse shape, between an impossible schedule and results that do not arrive. Greens’ little hope of snatching a pass to the playoffs passes from this game.
