Suns, coach Williams on the injury of Durant: “He wants to play”

In a recent interview, coach Williams provided an update on Kevin Durant’s ankle injury

The night’s meeting between the Suns and the Warriors would have been a good test for Kevin Durant, but his ankle injury, which sidelined him prior to the game against the Thunder, still has no certain return date.

Coach Monty Williams commented on the situation regarding KD’s return in a recent interview, saying:

Kevin wants to play. I hate answering these questions because if I say something, it becomes a certain date, right? I haven’t received many reports outside of his progress. With that type of injury, you tend to improve every day, and he’s receiving 24-hour care. I imagine it’s a good sign

There is no set date on the calendar, and despite Kevin Durant‘s desire to play, the Suns may consider taking all the necessary time during the regular season to allow their star to fully recover and have him physically ready for the playoffs.
