The Denver Nuggets win 116-111 in a game that looked easy against a Philadelphia 76ers team without Joel Embiid and James Harden. Nikola Jokic scores his 29th triple-double of the season, finishing with 25 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Everything was fairly simple without the other MVP candidate in a matchup that could have possibly taken away doubts about who should be the league’s best player.

In the post-game interview, Nikola Jokic didn’t dwell on this aspect, but praised the qualities of his opponent, whom the 76ers decided not to play for the game (Injury Calf).

I think he’s a great player, one that will be remembered as one of the most dominant in the NBA. He’s a beast and really talented. He can impact the game in so many ways: in the post, shooting threes, facing up. He could also defend all positions in certain situations

The Serb then focused more on the team’s performance, which saw the Sixers come back into the game in the fourth quarter.

We didn’t do a great job because we had control of the game. They came back into the game, but I’m glad we were able to win. That’s what’s expected of us
