Where to Watch NBA 2026/27 Season
This guide provides a comprehensive overview of where and how to watch every game, whether through national broadcasts, streaming services, or the NBA League Pass.
The 2026/27 NBA season is about to begin, and it promises to be an exciting one with a schedule packed with thrilling matchups. (You can find the most important dates here.)
At this point, it is essential to know where to watch the NBA via streaming and television, so you don’t miss a single game and can follow all the latest coverage.
Where can you watch the NBA in Italy?
In Italy, there are several ways to watch the NBA, so here is the complete list of all the options for watching the NBA, from official TV channels to the best streaming services.
NBA on TV: Sky Sport Basket
The main option for following the NBA on television is Sky Sport Basket, which holds the rights to the American league through the 2027-28 season and provides extensive coverage of all the biggest games, along with analysis, shows, highlights and recaps.
With this subscription, the NBA is always within reach because it will also be available to stream at no additional cost on Sky GO.
To watch Sky Sport NBA, you need to be subscribed to Sky’s Sport package, currently offered at €24.99 per month for 18 months, followed by €51.90/month.
NBA Streaming: NOW
Alternatively, you can try NOW, Sky’s streaming service, which provides access to all Sky Sport content for €19.99/month with a 12-month minimum commitment, or €29.99/month with no commitment. Renewal is automatic, and cancellation must be submitted at least 24 hours before the viewing period expires.
NOW TV is a more flexible option than a traditional Sky Sport subscription and, above all, can be used on PC, smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, Google Chromecast, Vodafone TV, TIM Box, as well as Xbox and PlayStation.
NBA Streaming: NBA League Pass
NBA League Pass is the official NBA streaming service, allowing you to watch every NBA Regular Season, Playoff and Finals game live at a highly competitive price.
In our opinion, this service is the best option for NBA fans looking to save money while accessing all the content: live games, previously played games and the ability to download games for offline viewing.
If you’re particularly interested, we’ve put together a complete guide covering pricing, how it works and how to cancel.
NBA League Pass Price
To access this service, you need to subscribe to a plan, either monthly or annually, at a highly competitive price. Annual packages are also subject to discounts depending on when during the season they are purchased.
There are currently 7 days of free trial, after which the selected plan among the following options begins:
| Pass | Description | Monthly Price | Annual Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| NBA League Pass | Streaming of every game of the 2026/27 season on one device | €15.99 | €109.99 |
| NBA League Pass Premium | Every game of the 2026/27 season, streaming on three devices or on-demand, with no ads | €21.99 | €149.99 |
Free NBA Streaming
At the moment, there are no television or streaming services in Italy that allow you to watch NBA games for free and legally.
Our recommendation, for anyone interested exclusively in the NBA, is to take advantage of the annual NBA League Pass plan, which is undoubtedly the most complete and affordable of the options listed above.
