Stephen Curry announced that he will once again compete in the 3-Point Contest during the 2027 All-Star Weekend, which will be held in Phoenix. The announcement came live on TV, while the Golden State star was sidelined with a knee injury.
Curry’s Return: Chasing a Third 3-Point Title
The decision comes at a symbolic moment. Just hours earlier, Damian Lillard captured his third title in the competition in Los Angeles, joining an extremely exclusive club. A milestone that Curry could match in 2027.
Currently, No. 30 has won the 3-Point Contest in 2015 in New York City and in 2021 in Atlanta. A win in Phoenix would bring him to three trophies, further solidifying his legacy.
