Derrick White’s Theory: “I Don’t Believe in the Moon Landing”
Derrick White, guard for the Boston Celtics, questions the Moon landing and hints at more theories he may reveal in the future
In the NBA, it’s not unusual to find players with unconventional views. A well-known and historic example is Kyrie Irving and his belief in the flat Earth theory.
The latest player to touch on conspiracy theories in basketball circles is Derrick White. The Boston Celtics guard, in a recent episode of his podcast, said he doesn’t believe in the Moon landing and revealed he has even discussed it in the locker room with head coach Joe Mazzulla.
I don’t consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but I think some theories are interesting. I enjoy discussing different topics, and these things intrigue me. For example, I don’t think we actually landed on the Moon – maybe we did, but I don’t believe it. I have other theories like this that I’ll keep to myself; I don’t think it’s the right time to talk about them

Between buckets, Derrick White is making it clear he has plenty of unconventional ideas… though for now, he prefers to keep some of them to himself.
