Bosh’s warning to Wembanyama: “Never take your health for granted”
Former NBA champion Chris Bosh addressed Victor Wembanyama’s medical situation, sharing his own story and advice born from personal experience
When it comes to blood clot issues, Chris Bosh knows exactly what they can mean. The former Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors star saw his NBA career end far too soon because of the condition. That’s why he wanted to speak directly to Victor Wembanyama, who has dealt with a very similar situation over the past few seasons.
The San Antonio Spurs big man, after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis that cut short his second NBA season, was able to return to the court and help lead the Spurs to the NBA Finals. According to Bosh, however, that comeback should never be taken for granted.

The former NBA All-Star wanted to remind Wembanyama never to underestimate the situation, even now that he has returned to competing at the highest level.
