Russell Westbrook ripped by NBA scout: “I’d never sign him”

Are Russell Westbrook’s numbers no longer enough?

From a statistical standpoint, Westbrook still put together a respectable season. With the Kings, he averaged 15.2 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals during the 2025-26 campaign, showing that he can still impact the game in multiple ways.

According to many NBA executives, however, the real issue is his overall impact on team success. In recent years, Westbrook has bounced from franchise to franchise without finding long-term stability, fueling concerns that his style of play has become increasingly difficult to integrate into the modern NBA.
