In the past few hours, another notable guest has been confirmed. Miguel La Torre of ClutchPoints reported that Ray Allen, the third member of Boston’s legendary Big Three, will also attend the ceremony and deliver a speech honoring Rivers’ induction into the Hall of Fame.
Rivers’ induction serves as the final recognition of that unforgettable Celtics era. Following the Hall of Fame inductions of Ray Allen in 2018, Kevin Garnett in 2020 and Paul Pierce in 2021, the architect of that championship team will now leave his own lasting mark on basketball history.
