Mark Williams suffers offseason injury, out for several months

After signing a three-year, $38 million contract to remain in Phoenix, Mark Williams will be sidelined for several months due to a left shoulder injury suffered during an offseason workout.

The news is a major blow for the Suns, especially because the 24-year-old center was coming off the healthiest season of his NBA career. In 2025-26, he appeared in 60 games, surpassing his previous career high of 44, while averaging 11.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 23.6 minutes per game.
