Cooper Flagg surprises everyone at Media Day
Cooper Flagg’s second NBA season begins with a small surprise: the Mavericks talent revealed what changed over the summer
During the Dallas Mavericks’ Media Day, Cooper Flagg revealed that he grew by about an inch during the offseason. The 19-year-old now stands 6’10” (about 2.08 meters), up from 6’9” last season.
Flagg explained that he received his new official measurements on Thursday, also specifying that his height was measured without shoes.
I’m 6’10” without shoes. Last year I was 6’9”, so I definitely grew. With shoes, maybe I’m 6’11”

After a season that ended with him winning Rookie of the Year, the Mavericks talent now heads into his second NBA campaign with a few extra centimeters. Another physical advantage for an already extremely versatile player who could become even more difficult to deal with on both ends of the floor.
