Doncic-Reaves vs. Edwards-LaMelo: Adebayo weighs in
The new NBA season promises plenty of intriguing duos. Bam Adebayo has already picked his favorite, and it is not Doncic and Reaves
Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball or Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves? If he had to choose between the two duos, Bam Adebayo would not have much doubt. The Miami Heat center is all-in on the Minnesota Timberwolves’ new pairing, even if he admits it is not exactly an easy comparison.
Appearing on The Makeshift Podcast, Adebayo explained why he is so curious to see Edwards and Ball play together.
It’s tough to choose, because we’ve already seen Luka and Reaves play together. But I’m going with Ant and LaMelo. I think the Wolves are going to be a lot of fun… And off the court, we’re going to get some great moments too. I can already picture their interviews – they’re going to be a show

LaMelo Ball has already shown some promising signs in his first two Preseason games, but on the other side, Doncic and Reaves have the advantage of already knowing each other well. And Reaves is coming off the best season of his career, averaging 23.3 points, 5.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds.
Adebayo, for his part, will also have a new pairing to make work alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo in Miami. In short, between the Lakers, Wolves and Heat, there should be plenty of excitement this year. And above all, it will be interesting to see which of these new tandems can truly make the difference.
