LeBron James signed in the summer of 2010 with Wade and Bosh‘s Miami Heat in order to win his first Championship. On Christmas Day he faced the reigning champions, Kobe Bryant‘s Los Angeles Lakers.

The Heat were favoured, coming from a single loss in the last month. In addition, they had a roster far better than the rival one. Expectations were high, considering all the stars on the court.

That were exactly the brightest stars who lighted up the game, with LeBron in the role of absolute ruler and a more epic battle between Dwayne Wade and Kobe Bryant. They man-marked each other, made their lives complicated and pushed each other to make mistakes: that night they both had a 30% from the field, but they also offered some remarkable defensive plays.

With Wade and Kobe committed in their personal fight, Miami offensive game passed into the hands of the King, who accepted the assignment, ending with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the fourth Triple Double in Christmas Day history, until then.

The Heat easily won the game 96 to 80, but the heated competition between three giants of NBA history will be a moment to remember for all basketball fans.
