Dunkest NBA Fantasy Tips: The 9 Must-Have Players for Round 18 and Key Insights

Dunkest NBA Fantasy Tips

Everything you need for Round 18 of Dunkest NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position:

Guards

Josh Hart (New York Knicks, 14.6 cr)

The other solid player from New York this year is, rightly so, often featured in these columns. He doesn’t stand out, but Hart’s contribution is crucial for coach Thibodeau. He battles on the boards, defends against all opponents, and always makes smart reads on offense. This versatility and selflessness translate into stat lines that might seem unremarkable at first glance, but generate high scores in Dunkest. He’s really expensive now, more than ever in his career. However, the opponent is interesting, and the score is almost guaranteed, barring the usual surprises of the Regular Season.

Anfernee Simons (Portland TrailBlazers, 9.7 cr)

Portland’s little devil is absolutely on fire! His score is definitely influenced by his often fluctuating shooting percentages and a team dynamic that is still hard to decipher. However, the opponent and his great form push us to bet on him: only for thrill-seekers!

Cason Wallace (Oklahoma City Thunder, 6.6 cr)

The Thunder’s sophomore is taking advantage of Giddey’s departure to solidify (with positive results) his position within the team. After a shaky start, Wallace has posted some interesting scores in recent games, helping him fend off Wiggins’ competition. He can aim for a definitive profit against Toronto.

Forwards

Lauri Markkanen (Utah Jazz, 14.1 cr)

After a great return from injury, Markkanen has faced some difficulties in recent games. It’s a shame, you might say, a risk to pick him… but not at all! With all these undervalued players, I’m sure Markkanen is ready to deliver one of his standout performances. The value of the guy is undeniable, and his talent is worth more than the credits needed to bring him onto the team. Let’s trust him, he’s the perfect safety net for our T3.

Kristaps Porzingis (Boston Celtics, 13 cr)

A bit of rest here and there, and the playing time is back to what it was before. Over 30 minutes are expected, and day by day, his form is improving. It will still take a few weeks to see a beast like him at 100%, but against the Detroit Pistons, and at this price, we can settle for a half-fit Porzingis. An absolutely timely opportunity, one that feels like a Christmas gift.

Tyrese Martin (Brooklyn Nets, 5.1 cr)

Speaking of forwards, today we’re going all-in on two players who have been somewhat hard to define so far. Starting with Brooklyn, the solid Martin has shown in the last three games that he has a decent arsenal at his disposal. His performances against Phoenix, Chicago, and Orlando are no fluke, and he could even do better against the less formidable defense of the Pacers.

Center

Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks, 18.3 cr)

Under the “solid” category this year, we find the good Towns, in his first steps in New York. In the Big Apple, Towns has immediately found the keys to the offense, but also a very high playing time. The Knicks are stumbling compared to last season, but Towns’ impact on the offensive end is unquestionable. Against Charlotte, he can continue the streak of impressive performances he’s been delivering.

Isaiah Hartenstein (Oklahoma City Thunder, 11.0 cr)

It may seem obvious, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be reiterated. At this stage of the game, it’s absolutely impossible not to pick the starting center for OKC, who is on a full-on march toward the Western throne. Holmgren’s still-extended absence will allow Hartenstein to climb the depth chart in the center position, potentially making him as valuable as one of the big-name players on the roster. Let’s take advantage of this moment and capitalize on the potential profit “as if it were raining.”

Mason Plumlee (Phoenix Suns, 6.7 cr)

The experienced center for the Suns was one of the best moves in the market during the last summer. Especially considering Nurkic’s lack of reliability, a player like Plumlee could be a big help for the Arizona team. The matchup against a New Orleans squad missing Williamson makes him an intriguing asset for this game.

Coach

Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks, 10.9 cr)

Even without Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks kept racking up victories. Now that the Slovenian is back, he’s doing it in style. Great performances and high scores will only help the Mavericks rise further in the Western standings, especially in this game against the Washington Wizards, who are already looking ahead to next season.

Tom Thibodeau (New York Knicks, 9.1 cr)

The recent matchup between New York and Charlotte was decided only in the final minutes, with the Knicks coming out on top. Few would have expected such a tough battle, but the important thing is the final result. In this rematch, in the Big Apple, we can expect another victory for Thibodeau’s team, maybe without the final thrill.
