Tips Fantasy NBA M2
All I Want for Christmas… is Dunkest! The NBA never stops and the same goes for us. These are our tips for the second matchday of the season
Merry Christmas, guys! While you open your presents and hang out with your family and friends, don’t forget to line up your team for this second matchday! Let’s take a look at the best options for this one!
Centers
- Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic, 14.7 credits): The Orlando Magic surprinsingly beat Miami in the first game of the season, but the big man struggled. Nevertheless he notched a double-double: imagine what he can do against the Wizards.
- Al Horford (OKC Thunder, 9.3 credits): The Thunder didn’t get to play on M1 as the season opener against the Rockets was postponed. They’ll debut against the Hornets, definitely an easy task for Horford, especially since Cody Zeller is out.
- Dwight Howard (Philadelphia 76ers, 8.1 credits): The game against the Knicks should be a blowout and, if that’s the case, Embiid could play a limited amount of minutes: the perfect opportunity for Howard to shine.
Forwards
- Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers, 18.9 credits): Tough debut for the Lakers and their superstars, but the chance to redeem themselves is already here. Against a Porzingis-less Mavericks team, expect Davis to record at least a double-double.
- Blake Griffin (Detroit Pistons, 10.1 credits): He didn’t perform well in the first game of the season, but the Pistons had the Timberwolves in trouble through the first 3 quarters. If they keep this up, they should have no problem against the Cavs, a team that will give Blake plenty of space to put up eye-popping numbers.
- Larry Nance Jr. (Cleveland Cavaliers, 9.2 credits): Kevin Love’s status ahead of M2 is still uncertain, but in his absence Nance had an unbelievable performance against the Hornets. Even if Love returned, he could still find a way to play a good deal of minutes and record great stats.
Guards
- Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76ers, 15.5 credits): 16 points, 9 rebound and 7 assists: these were Simmons’ stats in the first game of the season. The triple-double is always within reach for him, and even more so against the Knicks’ defense.
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC Thunder, 13 credits): After a very good season under Chris Paul’s wing, he’s ready to become the leader of this Thunder team. The opener against the Rockets was postponed, so OKC will debut against the Hornets, a match-up that makes Shai a must-pick.
- Donte DiVincenzo (Milwaukee Bucks, 7.6 credits): Despite the loss to the Celtics, DiVincenzo recorded a pretty good score in our fantasy game. The Bucks are expected to run through the Warriors on Christmas day, so he’s once again one of the best low-cost options you can pick.
Coach
- Monty Williams (Phoenix Suns, 8.5 credits): There’s still some work to do in order to build the perfect chemistry between Paul, Booker and Ayton, but that shouldn’t stop the Suns from getting the W against the Kings. If we analyse the risk/reward ratio, he’s the best coach you can pick for M2.
