What can you say? There are no words to describe him. He dominates NBA courts despite his love for horse racing – though he does have a few flaws – Nikola Jokic (C, 28.0 cr) will start with the highest valuation ever, matching the biggest Dunkest prize in history!
Watch out for Jamal Murray (G, 12.0 cr) this year: with Porter Jr. gone, there will definitely be more space and possessions for him on offense. At 12 credits, he’s set to be one of the most interesting guards in the game.
Possible Surprises
Cameron Johnson (G, 9.5 cr) has the task of stepping into MPJ’s shoes. He plays off the ball more comfortably, and his versatility combined with his shooting ability will benefit from Jokic’s passing. Under 10 credits, you’re getting a player who averaged 23.8 FTP last season.
Players to Avoid
Aaron Gordon (F, 10.0 cr) is too inconsistent for Dunkest. He can shine on any given night, but relying on him regularly leads to inevitable disappointment. With a double-digit price tag, there’s always the risk of a single-digit FTP score.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (G, 7.0 cr) – or “Square Head” to some 2K fans – didn’t impress last season despite getting plenty of minutes and a starting role. Starting lower in the pecking order this year and with shaky shooting percentages, there are definitely better options out there.
