Tips Fantasy NBA M8
It doesn’t matter whether M7 was a success or a bust for you: it’s time to get your team ready for M8. As usual, we’re here to help you
Here we are again! M7 was only the second matchday split in 3 days, but now we’re back to normal as M8 is going to be a 2-day matchday. Let’s get straight to the point with our tips!
Centers
- Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic, 15.7 credits): He was pretty quiet last time out, so he’ll definitely be willing to get back to his previous form against the Rockets, a team that doesn’t have its strong suit under the rim.
- DeAndre Ayton (Phoenix Suns, 14 credits): With a 6-2 record, the Suns are now one of the best teams in the league. Ayton has been getting better and better and a match-up against the Pistons might be exactly what he needs to have a dominant performance.
- Steven Adams (New Orleans Pelicans, 12 credits): After the first triple-double of his career, Steven Adams will go toe-to-toe against Biyombo, definitely not his toughest opponent. He probably won’t notch another triple-double, but he could easily get the double digits in points and rebounds.
Forwards
- Julius Randle (New York Knicks, 14.7 credits): As far as our Fantasy Basketball goes, he’s been the Most Improved Player so far. He’s a must-pick in the match-up against the Thunder, especially considering his cost.
- Gordon Hayward (Charlotte Hornets, 13.1 credits): He’s coming off a career-high 44 points and the match-up against the Pelicans won’t be easy at all. However, if the Hornets hope to get away with the win, they’ll need the best Gordon Hayward for the second time in a row.
- Darius Bazley (OKC Thunder, 9.3 credits): He already proved that he can notch double-doubles pretty easily, which is why we think he can put up some great stats despite the match-up with Randle. He’s a risky option, but he’s also a low-cost player with the ability to stand out every now and then.
Guards
- Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers, 17.6 credits): It looks like it’s Dame Time again! The Trail Blazers will go up against the Kings, so Lillard should have no problem dropping 30+ points and, hopefully, filling up the whole stat sheet.
- Dejounte Murray (San Antonio Spurs, 10.5 credits): Even though he’s not the most reliable, he normally does his thing, just like he did on M7. We expect him to have a similar performance on M8, given the fact that the Spurs will take on the Timberwolves.
- Dennis Schröder (Los Angeles Lakers, 9.5 credits): The Lakers are on the second leg of a back-to-back, so LeBron and Davis might be on a minutes restriction or even sit out against the Bulls. Either way, he should be given a lot more responsibility on the court.
Coach
- Tom Thibodeau (New York Knicks, 7 credits): These Knicks are for real, and Tom Thibodeau is the architect of this new project. Even though the Thunder are no pushover, we expect New York to bring home the W.
