Dunkest NBA Fantasy: Teams at Rest and Average Scores
What happens when a team is marked as Team at Rest on Dunkest? Here’s how average scores, Captain bonuses, and Bench points work
Team at Rest? Here’s everything you need to know about average scores and how to manage your Dunkest NBA Fantasy lineup.
During the season, some Gameweeks may include one or more Teams at Rest. This helps optimize the Fantasy schedule and keep the different Turns balanced.
You can always find Teams at Rest in the Gameweek calendar, just below the Turns.
How Do Average Scores Work for Teams at Rest?
When a team is marked as Team at Rest, all its members – including coaches, injured players, and suspended players – automatically receive their season average Fantasy score.
Here’s how it works:
- Average score in T1: Every player and coach receives their average Fantasy score recorded up to that point in the season
- No price changes: Players neither gain nor lose Fantasy Credits, so their value remains unchanged
- No Captain bonus: If a player from a Team at Rest is selected as Captain, their average score will NOT be multiplied by 1.5
- Half points on the Bench: If a player from a Team at Rest is placed on the Bench, their average Fantasy score is halved.
What Should You Do When a Team Is at Rest?
No game doesn’t mean no Fantasy Points! Players from Teams at Rest can still contribute to your Dunkest score, so make sure you check the schedule before setting your lineup.
And don’t forget: average scores don’t get the Captain bonus, so keep that in mind when choosing your Captain for the Gameweek.
