Embiid’s talent is undeniable, his health remains the question

When healthy, Joel Embiid has proven himself to be one of the most dominant centers of his generation. For his career, he averages more than 27 points and 10 rebounds per game, numbers that have earned him an NBA MVP Award, seven All-Star selections and two scoring titles.

The issue, however, has long been durability. Injuries have significantly limited his availability, and Philadelphia could ultimately decide to end a partnership that never managed to carry the franchise to the NBA Finals.

Even so, a player with Embiid’s résumé still carries substantial value across the league. If he were truly placed on the trade market, there would be no shortage of interested teams.

Embiid to Dallas: a possible trade framework

The most complicated aspect of any deal would be the financial component. Dallas would likely be unwilling to sacrifice Kyrie Irving, who remains a cornerstone of the franchise alongside Cooper Flagg.

For that reason, a potential offer could begin with a package including Klay Thompson, Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, and multiple future draft picks. Such a proposal would at least be enough to open discussions with Philadelphia.
