Stephen Curry calls on LeBron James to join the Warriors: “He can win here”
Despite the latest rumors, the dream of seeing Stephen Curry and LeBron James wearing the same jersey is still alive
The idea of finally seeing LeBron James and Stephen Curry on the same side continues to fuel the imagination of NBA fans. Over the past few months, the Golden State Warriors have repeatedly been linked to the four-time MVP, and while a deal remains difficult at this point, Curry made it clear he would welcome his longtime rival with open arms.
Speaking during a press conference at the American Century Championship, the celebrity golf tournament that brings together stars from across the sports world, the Warriors’ No. 30 admitted he has no idea how likely it is that LeBron James will choose Golden State.

Why LeBron James should choose the Warriors
While Curry avoided making predictions about the possibility of a deal, he had no hesitation when asked why LeBron James should consider moving to the Bay Area.
We just want to play great basketball, be around people who truly understand the game, and keep raising our level of competitiveness. Despite Curry’s endorsement, the path leading LeBron James to the Warriors remains an uphill battle. In recent weeks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers have emerged as the leading contenders, while Golden State appears to have lost ground in the race for the superstar.
According to several reports that surfaced in recent days, one scenario that could have improved the Warriors’ chances of landing James involved adding Anthony Davis to the roster as well. At least for now, however, that possibility appears highly unlikely.
One thing is certain: Curry believes the decision belongs entirely to his longtime rival.
At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is where he believes he’s the best fit. The decision is completely his
