The race to land LeBron James is still very much alive – at least on paper. Although a series of social media hints that were later deleted seemed to point toward a possible return to the Miami Heat, the NBA superstar’s future remains completely undecided.
An interesting clue came from Anthony Edwards during Fanatics Fest, where the Timberwolves star was asked about the possibility of the four-time NBA champion heading to Minnesota.

Edwards’ comments, however, appear to contradict what was reported by Jon Krawczynski, an insider with close ties to the Timberwolves. According to the veteran reporter, Minnesota is still very much in the mix as a potential destination for LeBron James.
We don’t know whether what Anthony said is true or if he’s simply trying not to raise any suspicions. As we’re recording this, we still don’t know anything about LeBron James’ future, but some people still believe he could end up with the Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards has been directly involved in the situation and has made calls to LeBron. LaMelo has also spoken with him to try to convince him to seriously consider playing in Minnesota
