The answer, of course, is yes. LeBron James chose Philadelphia, signing a two-year, $8 million contract with a player option for the second season.
After the initial surprise, Cunningham explained what she believes could become the biggest challenge for the new superteam.

If I’m being selfish, I wanted him with the Warriors. Stephen Curry and LeBron together would have been unbelievable. But Philadelphia has so much talent, and now they’re probably one of the favorites in the East along with the Knicks and, of course, my Pacers. I thought he’d end up in Miami or Cleveland, so this really surprised me. I’ll definitely be watching a lot more 76ers games
