NBA Fantasy Draft: Dunkest Draft Hub Guide

Run your Dunkest NBA Fantasy Draft from start to finish with the official player list, live Draft Room, auctions, timers and roster exports

Organizing your league’s Draft usually means keeping track of player lists, picks, auctions, budgets and rosters at the same time. With the Dunkest Draft Hub, everything can be managed from one place, using the official Dunkest player list and following every pick in real time.

The Commissioner can choose between a Snake Draft or an order based on roster value, play with or without credits, set a timer and manage every pick and assignment. All other participants can follow the Draft through a shared link, while final rosters and Draft data can be exported once the session is over.

Here’s how the Dunkest NBA Fantasy Draft Hub works.

Before starting the Draft

Once the Draft has been created, the first step is making sure everything is ready. From Draft Order & Rules, the Commissioner can check participants, Draft mode, initial order and roster composition. The positional slots selected when creating the Draft remain fixed throughout the session.

Creating the Draft and starting the actual picks are two separate steps. Before clicking Start Draft, there is time to double-check the settings and, most importantly, decide how the league will communicate picks and bids: in person, on a call or through the chat your league normally uses.

From the Draft Room, the Commissioner can also use Copy participant view link and share it with everyone else. The link can be opened on smartphones, tablets or computers and lets participants follow the current turn, timer and rosters in real time, with the page updating automatically.

Participants don’t need access to the Commissioner’s account. Their view is read-only, meaning they can follow the entire Draft but cannot select players or register bids. The Commissioner remains in control of all Draft operations.

How Draft order and player assignments work

During the Draft, the top of the screen shows “On the clock…” and “Up next…”, making it easy to see who has the current pick and who will be next.

The order works differently depending on the selected Draft mode. In a Snake Draft, the order reverses after every round. With the roster value order, starting from the second round the sequence is recalculated according to the official list value of the players on each roster. This means Dunkest CR values are used for the calculation, not the prices eventually paid during an auction.

Whenever the next turn depends on the outcome of an auction or on the recalculation at the start of a new round, the Draft Hub will let you know.

In leagues using credits, it is also important to distinguish between the nominator and the auction winner. The participant who nominates a player will not necessarily be the one who eventually adds that player to their roster.

From here, the process changes depending on whether your NBA Fantasy Draft uses credits.

Draft without credits

Without credits, the process is straightforward. The participant whose turn it is announces the player they want, and the Commissioner searches for that player in the official list, using team and position filters when needed.

Once the player has been found, the Commissioner selects them, checks that the correct player and participant are shown, and confirms the pick. The player is immediately added to the roster and the Draft moves to the next turn, with the shared participant view updating automatically.

Draft with credits

When credits are enabled, each selection goes through an auction. The participant whose turn it is announces the player they want to nominate, and the Commissioner selects Nominate and confirms the nomination. The player will then appear as Auction in progress.

Bidding takes place outside the Draft Hub through the channel chosen by the league before the session starts. The opening bid is 1 credit.

Once the auction is over, the Commissioner only needs to record the result by selecting Record auction result, choosing the winner and entering the final price.

Before confirming the assignment, the Draft Hub automatically checks that the participant has enough credits available and an open roster slot for that position. The final price must be a whole number of at least 1 credit.

It is also important not to confuse the auction price with the player’s official Dunkest value: the CR value shown in the player list and the amount paid during the auction are two separate things.

If a nomination needs to be withdrawn before the player is assigned, the Commissioner can simply use Cancel nomination. No player will be added to a roster and the turn will remain with the same participant.

Timers, pauses and corrections during the Draft

To keep the Draft moving, the Commissioner can activate a timer, setting the time available for each nomination between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. In Drafts with credits, a separate auction timer can also be used.

The Commissioner still has full control over the clock and can pause it, resume it, restart it or add 15 extra seconds. When the timer reaches zero, nothing happens automatically: no player is assigned and no participant loses their turn. How to proceed is up to the Commissioner and the rules agreed upon by the league.

Pausing the timer is also different from pausing the entire Draft. If the whole session needs to be stopped, the Commissioner can select Pause Draft. New assignments will be blocked, while all rosters remain visible. When everyone is ready to continue, Resume Draft takes the league back to where it left off.

Mistakes can also be fixed without restarting the entire NBA Fantasy Draft. From the Management section, the Commissioner can use Undo last assignment to remove only the most recent pick. The player becomes available again, while the previous turn and, when applicable, credits are restored.

For auctions, Edit last auction can be used when the correct player was assigned but the winner or final price needs to be changed. If the wrong player was selected, the assignment must instead be undone and recorded again.

Throughout the session, the Commissioner can check Teams for rosters and remaining credits, History for all completed assignments and Summary for an overall view of the Draft.

If the league really needs to start again from scratch, there is also a Reset Draft option. This removes every pick and clears all rosters while keeping the Draft configuration, participants and shared link unchanged. Since this action completely resets the session, it requires a double confirmation.

You can stop and resume your Draft

Your Draft doesn’t have to be completed in a single session. If it is interrupted, the Commissioner can later sign in with the same account, open My Drafts and return to the existing session. All saved assignments will be restored so the league can continue from where it stopped.

If a connection or saving error appears, always check the updated roster and Draft history before repeating an action. A pick should only be considered successfully registered once it appears on the roster or in the history.

There is therefore no need to create another Draft to continue an existing one. New Draft should only be used when you actually want to start a new configuration.

What happens when the Draft is completed

Once every roster is full, the Draft Hub automatically displays Draft completed. Before wrapping things up, the Commissioner can make one final check with the rest of the league to make sure rosters, assignments and, in auction leagues, remaining credits are all correct.

From the Summary section, the Commissioner can export the final rosters as a CSV file as well as the complete Draft history. If corrections were made during the session, a separate corrections CSV is also available.

For those who prefer a single document, the Draft Hub also provides a printable A4 summary, which can be printed directly or saved as a PDF.

Exports are available before the Draft is finished as well, but they should be considered provisional until every roster has been completed. In leagues using credits, any unspent credits will appear as the team’s post-Draft budget.

And the shared link doesn’t disappear after the final pick. Participants can continue using it to check the final results and all league rosters even after the Draft is over.
